P L A N N E R S . . .
Martha Stewart Weddings, Fall 2008

DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS...
"Planning a wedding is so much about the details that tell your story - the places you've been, the colors you love, the songs that move you- all of which come together to create the atmosphere that makes a perfect day and sets the stage for your big moment."

There was a time when hiring a wedding coordinator was known to be an extravagance. Brides would accept the fact that the time-consuming planning of their wedding would be left up to them. These days, wedding planners are a common place among weddings across the United States.
According to Martha Stewart Weddings, women are not only marrying later on in life, but also balancing more hectic lifestyles that do not leave much, if any, time for planning their wedding. This is why having an organized professional around to take the burden of small details is almost a sanity-saving necessity when free time is not often seen.

Having been a part of countless weddings, Angela and her team at Le Spose Di Angela, Inc. have the experience and background to help with ideas, color schemes and decor options to make your day as unique as possible. We also take you through the dreaded negotiations and help recommend vendors that we know can be trusted; we are a reliable source. The responsibilities of staying within the wedding budget can also be stressful. It is our job to understand your needs and successfully meet them while staying within costs that will make you happy (You will appreciate having an experienced professional around to talk numbers). Making sure every detail is up to par, and occasionally serving as an impromptu therapist when mounting stress is just too much to handle, is also the job we are equipped to manage. You can entrust us with as little or as much of the details you would prefer not to tackle.

A REFLECTION ON KINDNESS...

Stopped at a red light recently, I gave a donation and received a pamphlet in return. After looking through the sheet, I found a story that was just a little reminder of how we can portray kindness in our society. I read it and thought it was worth sharing on my blog...

Back when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a boy entered a coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him, ready to take his order. "How much is an ice cream sundae?" "Fifty cents," replied the waitress. The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied a number of coins in it. "How much is a dish of plain ice cream?" he inquired. Some people were now waiting for a table, and the waitress was impatient. "Thirty-five cents," she said angrily. The little boy again counted the coins. "I'll have the plain ice cream." The waitress brought the ice cream and hurried away. The boy finished, paid the cashier, and departed. When the waitress came back, she swallowed hard at what she saw. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, was fifteen cents -her tip.
